10G Cat 6a cabling provides transmission performance that excceeds the industry standard Cat6 parameters and supports the operation of 10GBASE-T over 100 meters.

10G Cat6A solutions are qualified for frequencies up to 500MHz.

  • Category 6a (Augmented Category 6) operates at frequencies up to 500 MHz - twice that of Cat 6.
  • Supports 10 Gbit/s applications (especially 10GBaseT) up to a maximum distance of 100 meters.
  • Cat 6a is the evolution of UTP cabling to support 10G and more bandwidth when compared to Cat 6.
