    This Mini DisplayPort Male to DVI Female Adapter will allow your Mini-DisplayPort equipped laptop to connect to your DVI device.   These are passive adapter cables that require a source having a DP++ port (DisplayPort++), meaning that DVI signals are passed through the port, when this adapter is detected.

    Description:

    • Used to connect a mini DisplayPort output to a DVI monitor
    • Supports Mini DisplayPort 1.1a input and DVI output
    • Supports DVI resolutions up to 1080p, and 1920x1200 (single link). 
    • Supports DVI 225MHz / 2.25 Gbps per channel bandwidth (6.75 Gbps all channels)
    • Supports DVI 12bit per channel (36bit all channels) deep colour

      *NOTE*:  This adapter does NOT support analog signal. It will only output a digital signal. It can be used with DVI to DVI and DVI to HDMI cables and adapters, but NOT DVI to VGA.
     

    This device is not Bidirectional.  It can only connect a Mini-DisplayPort source to a DVI display.  It will not work in  reverse.
