Mil. Spec. 18-8 Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Screw, 82 Degree Countersink Angle, 6-32 Thread Size, 1/2" Long

Manufactured and tested to meet strict U.S. military specifications for material and construction. These screws are made of stainless steel, so they won't rust or corrode when exposed to moisture and chemicals. The Phillips drive has a cross-shaped opening in which a driver fits snugly for easy alignment. With four contact points, they withstand more torque than slotted drives, but drivers slip when you apply too much force.

18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
